Crab Claw Island is a unique getaway about an hour and a half from Darwin. I enjoyed the wildlife visiting our campsite, and the atmosphere was relaxed. However, the facilities need some care, particularly in the restrooms, and the beach area is not ideal for swimming due to the rocky shore. The dining experience was enjoyable, with a nice view, but the cleanliness of the pools left something to be desired.

Our stay at Crab Claw Island was absolutely fantastic! The weather was perfect, and we made great memories fishing and enjoying time by the pool. The staff were incredibly welcoming and truly went above and beyond for us. The only downside was the midges, typical for the area, but that didn’t dampen our fun. The value for money was great, especially with the offer of a complimentary night. Overall, it’s a family-friendly resort that we can’t wait to revisit!
